A continuation of the Flathead, reworked at the surface level.
The TOPO series explores controlled imperfection. Using laser engraving, the flat plane of the original case is disrupted with flowing, organic geometries. These forms are not decorative in the traditional sense; they are mapped, almost geological like erosion patterns, or terrain shaped over time.
As light moves across the surface, the case shifts with it. Highlights break, scatter, and reform depending on angle, creating a constantly changing visual field. No single viewpoint defines it.
The texture is cut directly into the material, not applied. Each line is the result of precise laser passes, yet the outcome feels natural, unpredictable, almost accidental.
There is a subtle tension between machine and nature here.
